getting "bashed" isn't necessarily a bad thing. It's a good way to further explain your point, persuade others etc.
It's fine, as long as they're bashing your idea, not "you". for example, if the other person is being rude liiikee... "YOUR OPINION DOESNT MATTER BECAUSE YOU'RE UGLY!"
(just for the record, that would definitely be worth an infraction..)
