Protective: Has to be able to stand up for me, not necessarily aggressively, but supportive, even if the offender is a mate of his.

Assertive: Has to be able to speak up when he disagrees with something, and talk if something is wrong. Needs to be able to take control of conversations. Needs to be able to make things happen if they matter that much to me, and not afraid to ask me out etc.

Romantic: Needs to understand that I'm a girl. Needs to like to buy me gifts once in awhile, but not go overboard and try to smother me. Needs to spend time alone with me and understand that i need to hear the "L" word once in awhile.

Attentive: Needs to be able to listen and respond when i talk, and actually care about what I say. Needs to be able to talk about everything. Needs to know when im sad and need him, and needs to understand that I am a girl and tend to be just a little more emotional than the average guy.

Genuine: Needs to be able to be himself, not act different around mates or me. Needs to feel free to talk and share about his life without lying. Needs to be honest about everything even if he thinks it will hurt me. Needs to be comfortable with himself and able to have a good laugh.

Mature: Well that one pretty much says it all. I dont want to be going to bed with someone who has spiderman sheets and wants to watch cartoons before he goes to sleep... haha
