well i kinda am in the same situation ghostlyheartbeat but i didn't have a friend die my ex of 3 months who was my first and who i really loved well he started getting very controlling so i broke with him the first time and it lasted about 3 hours or so and then we got back together then the second time it lasted about 2 weeks and the third we haven't even talked to each other if we have it was being mean to each other so I'm in the depression stage still it sucks : (
