Let me explain why.
Supplication is THE ABSOLUTE WORST thing you can do before you're actually dating a girl. Why? Because YOU are the prize and that girl wants to go out with YOU to have a good time. Let me make it plain.
When you introduce yourself to a girl, you're showing her a fun version of you. You're giving her an example of the good times and experiences she can have with you. Now if you're always doing shit for her, and giving stuff to her, guess what that example is. A pathetic guy who's desperate for women and probably inexperienced because EVERYONE knows you don't have to give shit for a girl to like you. Yes, walking her to class will show you care, but that won't make her attracted to you. You're just another guy who's hitting on her.

Asking a girl out on a date is like saying, "We're having a fuck-load of fun. See how great I am? Now if you want to continue this, you'll have to come get it." So sure, walk the girl to class, but you better be the shit before you do ask her.
