I think that it's bound to happen, as he's moved away, but I understand why you'd be upset because I would too! Maybe he's just trying to move on, and I think you'd find it easier if you tried to aswell. But you definately aren't dumb for being upset, when you really like someone, friend or fancy them, it's always gutting when they move away or move on
