the bible is extremely hypocritical. an obvious example is one of the ten commandments is "thou shalt not kill" and then later in the text it says everywhere to stone people for things ranging from wearing cotton blend clothing to gay marriage.
which is why I don't take the bible seriously. I just use the jist of it.
