There are some stars who are always craving for the media's attention... You constantly read about Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and Victoria Beckham for example - where they've been, with whom, and so on.

Why does media have to intoxicate us daily with these stars? Can't they find anything else to write about, so they preffer to follow only few stars and write about them? We all know that Britney tries to be next to the paparazzi all the time, she even says that otherwise the public will forget about her! Even though she has nothing positive to show, and I think she's a bad example for the next generations.

I never agreed with the fact that negative exposure is still an exposure - personally, I would prefer only positive exposure, even if it's less exposure over all.

I think it's sad that they even get the kind of attention they do. They get more attention by the media than the soldiers even do. I think its ridiculous because a lot of them have done nothing to benefit the world. Big deal if you are in a movie or on tv. Why should I care and how is that supposed to make a person more special? They are still just people and are doing their job. I don't understand why people care so much about what "stars" are doing. Unless they do something great for the world or are someone I personally know and care about then I don't care about their personal lives.

I actually pity them. They have problems, just like normal people and they should be left alone to deal with their life.

I don't really care that some singer bought a new house or that some actor make thousand of millions of dollars... good for them. May they be happy.

I don't read any magazines or anything with such news. They disgust me. I am sick of reading about how successful or pathetic some people are. They are normal people, just like us...

how does one go about getting entertainment by being intrigued by people who are richer and probably have more drug probs than ur average human?

I think these stars are constantly in the media attention since people like to read about them, they like seeing pictures, they like hearing stories. The entire paparazzi thing WOULD END if it wasn't that successful, if people didn't buy the magazines and werent' that interested in the famous people's lives. The moment society starts treating them like normal people, the moment all this fuss ends. Still I doubt it

Something worse about celebs is the fact people actually give a fuck, namely the public.

Honestly, anyone with half a mind shouldnt give a shit about that.
