Okay. Well..I write a lot when I'm pissed...Or depressed..or just reflective. So here are some of my poems.

This one is for my ex.
We met at a concert.
Dated for about three months
And then he pulled something
I never thought plausible.
I called him and his girlfriend answered.
And he got on the phone and told me
that I was just a part of his game.
He said that he would miss me,
and that he liked me..but he
liked her more.

You can see why this would make me mad, no?

That Day in September

We all remember
That day in September
When the skies were
Clouded with smoke.

But with dramas and shows
And movies that blow
They’re making this seem
The whole thing’s a joke.

Not funny completely
But I’m laughing discreetly
For pop culture is making
This seem way too huge

Ground Zero sits there
And too much of us care
Those movies are making
The U.S. their stooge

But are we forgetting
(And that, I am betting)
That 9/11 went on
Five years ago?

Well, we’ll always remember
That day in September
But can we please stop
Wallowing in misery and woe?


(OKAY.. FOR THE LATTER OF THE TWO. I AM NOT SAYING THAT 9/11 SHOULD NOT BE REMEMBERED OR SHOULD NOT BE CARED ABOUT. I am just saying that people are STILL freaking about it. I mean, I know it was a horrible event, and many many innocent people were killed, but it's been like..Seven or so years. Calm the hell down, people! >_< )

You're looking at it from a selfish point of view.
If you think of the families that had to deal with losing someone that day, it is still going on for them, and it always will, until they die; Every single day is a reminder of all the people who were killed.

So many people in my life have died.. even if it wasn't in a huge event like 9/11, I still miss them.

But I don't constantly freak about it. I've come to accept that shit happens >_<

Unfortunately, it's not that easy. I'm sure they want to let it go, but it's not something you can just snap your fingers and get over.

I know it's not an immediate thing. Getting over death = not that easy.

But in what...seven years? I think they can get past bringing it up all the time.

But I'm pissed at our government for STILL milking 9/11 for all it's worth.
They're using the fear of another terrorist attack to get us to do whatever the hell they want.

the poem is just freaking saying that, as Americans, we should stop fugging wallowing in all the shit that happened seven years ago.

I'm not trying to say "Down With the Government!" or "People Need To Stop Remembering 9/11" or even "Don't Fear Another Terrorist Attack"

It's just saying stop posting damn memorials on TV and shit.

It pisses me off.
