Here is the deal...
My best friend is a very attractive guy. I've had a crush on him since even before we became friends.
We've been friends for almost a year and the whole time he has been in a relationship with one of my other friends but he is not really happy with her. He has always made sure I understood that.

After we became friends, I still had a crush on him but I push it to the back of my mind and since then have only mention it once.
Well, my best friend, Will (that's his name) has always flirted with me and has, at various times, whispered somethings about my appearance that could make a grown man blush. And to add to that, Will always gets jealous over any guys I date or sleep with or just become friends with.

It wasnt a really big deal at first but lately he has been doing a lot more of what I mentioned before. It worries me because I can't help but like him more and more! I'm afraid I'm going to fall in love with him and I know that even if, in the future, we do get a chance to date that it will cause a big uproar!

I need some advice and I'm afriad that if I go to one of my friends it will get around to his girlfriend or worst him.

Should I ignore this thing between us or what?

I've tried to stop liking him but I just can't do it. And he is always around. I can't just stop hanging out with him and plus I really don't want to stop spending time with him... I'm up to my eyeballs in hot water!!

All you can really do is talk to him about it. =/

Do you think it could be that simple? How would I start a conversation like that?

Of course it wouldn't be simple.
But there isn't really any other way of going about it.
I suppose you could come up with some sort of elaborate plan to do it, but in all likelyhood, it would backfire or something, and you would end up worse off than before. =/

I think if a chick has a guy best friend, she has a little crush on him. I mean, I kind of have a crush on my best friend (who is a guy). I of course WILL NEVER tell him cuz it would be VERY VERY awkward.
He doesn't have a girlfriend/boyfriend or anything, but it would still be a very peculiar situation. When I tell him about my relationships, or guys I sleep with, he doesn't get angry or anything. He just gets irritated and says I am stupid for doing that, lol. He's really just watching out for me, though.
And yeah, he has commented on my appearances. He says that I am pretty and could, for the most part, get any guy I wanted. And when I complain about feeling fat, he says I'm not, blahblahblah. Everything a best friend should do to comfort their best friend.
But, your approach to him is totally up to you. If it's not TOTALLY serious, then don't say anything. And, also, try to talk to him about his girlfriend. Ask why he doesn't split with her. Things like that. It won't seem weird cuz you're his best friend, so yeah. (:

I tried talking about it and I wass going to ask him how he felt about us but he just changed the subject and said we could talk later... later has yet to come and he is still acting the same towards me.

Will is anything but shy. He is the kind of guy that speaks his mind no matter who hears him. thats why I didnt understand why he said that... I'm still confused!
