Help,I need boy advice!?
Ok, one of my guy friends asked me if it was true that I had a date to prom because he had heard one of our mutal friends say it. I told him yes and he said that he was mad because he was thinking of asking me to prom. Later on he said that he had a lil crush on me during freshmen year of high school. Now my first question is why is he telling me had a lil crush on me now??? Next, I tried to help find him a date for prom and asked him if he had found one yet and he said no and that he wants to go with me. He then said how he wished he would have asked me sooner and is still mad because he really wants to take me and how he does not know but for some reason he does not want to go with anyone else. He even said "please can i go with you". Also, he asked me who was the guy taking me and if he was nice. So my second question is what is your take on this? Thank you so much! The reason why I am asking for advice on this is because I tend to read TOO much into things.

Wow that is a bit of a situation. I have a few questions for you before I offer some advice: do you like your guy friend the same way he likes you? and are you happy being with your prom date?

I think you should go to the prom with your date since he had the balls to ask you to go with him. But after the prom you can explain to him that you have feelings for someone else or whatever and go out with your guy friend. It really depends on what grade you are in and when your prom is. And you're right he should have asked you sooner!
