This is the age when people are not that "desperate" to get a relationship as a 35 year old would be for instance. Let's see though .. do you go to dating websites? What do you think about them? Are they OK or really useless?

I think they are useless for teens because they're 90% populated with older people that didn`t have any luck in love. In my opinion, you can`t find real love on the net especially on dating sites.

I guess they are alright for meeting people.
Like if you meet someone on a site, you both already have something in common, you're both desperate enough to meet up after meeting on a website.
I don't think you can meet someone online, then fall in love, and have a relationship, over the internet. It's just not natural. And people can easily fake who they are, online, so you really don't know the the person you're falling for is.
but if you're just looking for someone to meet up with, dating sites are ok.

I don't use them but I think the net is the best place if you want to look. I know that if I was looking for someone chances are 999 out of 1,000 I wont find anyone I think is worthy of my time in the places most people go to find people. I doubt I am going to want to be with anyone in a bar or club and don't even like clubs. The type of person I would be interested in would be more likely to be found at a library with his or her nose in a book. They probably spend most of their time at home and are very creative but not into partying or acting like a total retard. My idea of the perfect person I would most likely never find outside of looking online at first if I really wanted to look.

Dating sites r useless

I also think they are useless... Too many persons who lie about who they are just because they are so desperate and need to hang on to a fake online relationship. Of course, there are exceptions, and these I think they depend on the website (network) you're connected to...

i think they can be of some use.
of course there is a big risk involved: maybe the person you want to meet lied in their description, but there are plenty of people who really are trying to find a right person to start a relationship with.

of course these thoughts of mine apply on serious dating sites, sites on which the admin takes care of things and is serious about what he/she is doing.
