Default One State, Two States, Red States, Blue States

I am conducting a social and political experiment. I want to see how closely the voting opinions of today's young voters (read: us) correspond with the traditional political alliances of each voter's individual state.

As most of you probably know, for political purposes, states are generally categorized into two factions: red states and blue states. Red states are those which historically have gone to the Republican candidate in a Presidential election, and blue states are those which historically have gone to the Democratic candidate.

In order to conduct this experiment, I would like the registered American voters of TeenPhrase to post a) the state in which they are registered to vote, b) whether this state is a red state or a blue state (if you don't know which applies to your state, this information can likely be found on Google), and c) which candidate they will be voting for in the November election.

Since this is such a limited pool of respondees, I want to get as many as the voters of TeenPhrase as possible to conduct this experiment, so please spread the word.

I will keep track of the statistics in this post.

Personally, I am from Ohio, which is technically still a red state, although lately has begun to shift towards the Democratic side a little bit. I will be voting for Obama.

Red States
States Represented:
Ohio
Number of registered red state voters: 1
Number of registered voters who will vote Republican: 0
Percentage of Republican votes: 0%

Blue States
States Represented:

Number of registered blue state voters: 0
Number of registered voters who will vote Democrat: 0
Percentage of Democratic votes: 0%

Uhm, I live in Canada, but if I lived in America [and were old enough], I'd vote for Obama.
Alberta would probably be described as a Conservative [red] state [province], since our Premier is Conservative.

Well, I'm not 18 yet, but...I'd probably vote for Obama.

and I'm not gonna do the whole "red state or blue state" for my state, 'cause Mr. Spiff did that for me. ^^
