It's been said many times, that insects have such a low level of brain activity, they don't have much ability to think.
Do you think they feel emotions?
For example, if you make an attempt to swat a fly, are they scared?
After a mother black widow eats her mate, does she feel sad?

I think they do.
But that's just me.

No. Absolutely not. They can feel and percieve. If you stab one it knows it's wounded, but it isn't "hurt" in the way we are. I still never kill them though.
