Uhm, don't be a total snob. Join things, get involved, you'll make lots of new friends that way, and school won't seem like a total waste. Don't stress out too much, but don't completely slack off.

aww. I remember being a freshman.(im about to be a senior). We had moved, so i knew no one from middle school. The best thing for me was getting involved in stuff before school started. I tried out for the soccer team and it really helped. I went in on the first day, and knew upperclassmen from the guys and the girls team. It was so easy for me, i didnt have to worry about finding someone on the first day. I even got a boyfriend out of it. So just make an effort to get to know other people, and you'll be fine.
