Default Study/Memorization Tips

Okay, so i have to memorize the periodic table of elements for Monday.

Does anyone have any good memorization or study tips they would like to share?

learn it in groups?
7 groups + 0
so learn what's in the alkali metals/alkali earth/transition/nonmetals/halogens/noble etc? and categorising things makes it easier to remember

Read what you have to learn. Read many times until you understand what it's written there... Concentrate and make connections between all the informations. It's also a good idea to connect with something from the real life (situations, important numbers, and so on). Reorganise everything you learn in a logical way, write somewhere all the important stuff - point out the main ideas - it will be easier for you. Underline every important data, write it in colors, capitals, and so on. Record yourself while you're repeating out loud the things you need to learn, then play the tape over and over again
