How do you know at what college you want to study?
Did you prepare for this choice for years or do you just randomly pick one? Do your parents have a saying in this? Do they agree with the college YOU want to go to or do the somehow force you to follow their advice?

I've had a vague idea of the domain I wanted to study, so I was kind of lead to choose certain colleges in time... i prepared myself for it, even if I wasn't conscient about it. My parents kind of knew even since I was little that eventually I was going to end up in that direction, so it wasn't really a shock for them when I was decided to go to a journalism university! They did however have a word to say when deciding exactly what university to choose...

i basically checked whether my colleges were on common app and if they had my major. ah, college apps- such stabs in the freaking dark
