My cousin texted me this morning telling me that my little sister (16) lost her virginity to my cousins BF. My sister was not dating this boy and doesn't even talk to him on a regular basis. My sister told my cousin she used a condom but my cousin's BF said that his brother didn't have any condoms.
My sister wont talk to me and I live in a different state, I asked my cousin to take my sister to the doctor but I am not sure she will do it. I try to be a friend to my sister but in times like this I feel like jeapodizing our friendship and being the role model type. Since I am not there to do anything I have been contemplating calling my mother so that she can take my sis to the doctor and get her the morning after pill and check her for STDs. My question is should I tell my mom, or wait to see if my sister will tell herself? My only fear is that my sister will wait too long and something might go wrong. Help, please! |

I would like to have a sister like you. My brother wouldn't throw me a rope if I was drowning. You are really in a difficult position. Your sis would never talk to you again if you told your mom.
If you don't tell your mom and she is pregnant or diseased, how would you live with yourself? Being a little devious myself, I would call the school and speak to her counselor. Have him talk to her. He/she can't tell her who called. Really, you don't even have to tell him/her who you are. Even if she found out you did save her, she would only hate you until she got smart enough to realize how much you helped her. Would she be a good mother? |
