Dear self @ Age 6 (General Advice for the future),

What seems important today is quickly forgotten tomorrow. Live for today but give attention to your future. It will all matter far more than you know.

You will need your grades to go to college, because your parents are going to decide to get divorced and neither of them is going to be willing to pay...

Don't ever lose your character or ethics, because these will help you rise to the top and learn from what will be some of the worst times of your life.

Love your siblings more and offer them all of your support, you will truly miss those connections if they are ever gone and there is nothing more important than family. (Note to self now, theres still time to repair)

Call your Grandparents weekely if not more, calling on holidays is not enough, because when they are gone questions that never mattered will be the only thing you can ask.

Friends come and go in life and it is a hardship you will never be able to deal with. But never be afraid to open up to others while in opening up to them, will help lead you to answers.

Life will have its up and downs, you will always prevail so have fun and live every moment. "To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world"

Life is a wonderful thing. Never forget that. Never let anyone put you down. There will be days when you feel like quitting, and you think that everyone's life is perfect except your own. But no one is perfect

Keep good grades throughout all 13 years of school. Make sure you go to college you will not be able to financially survive later in life without a good education. No money?..no problem there are many people willing to help! good grades? aim for a scholarhip.

Love is almost as wonderful as life itself. You may feel that it completes you and without it you're nothing. That is not true. Love will find a way, never look for it in the wrong places.

Friends are great to have, but be mindful of those you open to. People can be deceiving and the first time is always the worst. But each and every time after you will become better at coping with it.

Mistakes are made frequently, but that is why you learn from them. Live with no regrets and always hope for the best. You are indeed important to this world but in no way are you invincible. Be careful and have respect for your self.

Never take advantage of anything. Jealousy is only a word its not your life. Your parents want the best for you. Sometimes they will hurt you and you will often have to forgive.

Share as much as you can with those in need. Always remember: Never make some one a priority when they only make you an option.; always forgive, but never forget; Learn from your mistakes and never give up no matter what!
