I've talked with some people, and they don't like Grindcore/Deathcore because it's "scary" sounding. I myself find it to be the best genre out there, but of course I like other genres too! But how do you feel about it?

The problem with grindcore is that you've got bands like Dr. Acula who are just jokes, and you've got bands that just throw so much double bass and blast beats in to their drum progs that it just sounds terrible.

The problem with deathcore is that there are a lot of bands who wish they were grindcore but just don't quite cut it.

Although there are good bands in each.

Personally, I love Impending Doom. Awesome stuff.

They are just examples. And deathcore isn't grindcore wannabe's...they sound different, and I like the different sounds.

Yah, I didn't mean to imply all deathcore bands were grindcore wannabes.
I really like deathcore, in fact.
I was just saying there are a good number of deathcore bands that are deathcore for no other reason that they weren't heavy enough grindcore.
