Katy Perry
What is your opinion of her?
I like her. Her songs are catchy, although I'm aware her lyrics are not exactly...deep. >.> I also find it awesome that there is a song on the charts about bi/homosexuality. It's a first, in my eyes atleast.

Like you've said her lyrics are about as deep as a puddle </3 I kissed a girl is catchy though.

The only song I've heard by her, is the kissed a girl one, and I constantly catch myself singing that song aloud, in the most awkward situations.

She's catchy, I'll give her that, but totally overrated and shallow. I don't see what the fuss is about her, to be honest. Even SA has picked up on her and that's just depressing.

Kiss the girl was on the radio yesterday while me and my friends were goin to burger king and I started dancing to it, but yeah she is a pretty good singer

the ability to create catchy songs that get stuck in your head does not necessarily make you a good artist.
her "I kissed a girl" song is catchy and has it's place in the music society I guess. like at parties or something. but I don't respect her enough to say she's a damn good artist and can be ranked that high up there on the fricken awesome charts.
