This is a little rant from me. I'm tired of seeing stupid people post "music is my life...I breathe it, eat it, sleep it, etc". Ok, I'm not even going to begin to say how idiotic you sound when you say that. But if music is your life, you seriously must not have a good life then. The next person to say this, I'm going to explode on you

You must not have a life is music "is your life".

Oh, and by the way, don't get started on "my life sucks so I listen to music, you must not know how it is". Because you don't want to get me started on how my life was. If you have lived through mental, emotional, and physical abuse, while dealing with an obsessive family, dad has abused mom, etc. THEN you can say that to me.

I agree it is over used.
Every one listens to music, some just listen to more music than others, that doesn't make it their life.
And every one has their way of dealing with pain, and it might be listening to music, who knows.

Well, music is going to be a part of people's lives because it stimulates the "pleasure" area of the brain. These people did MRI's and when listening to music, the same area that lights up during orgasm, lit up.
