We have faced a few technical problems which will result in an extended downtime for the site, perhaps another 10 hours. Unfortunately, the company we leased the server from, turned out to have its support staff located in the United States. True to their nature, they configured the server to a level suitable for an 11 year old who overdid Vodka in the excitement of moving a site. They failed to realise the serious business this site is, misconfigured the database server and left us marooned with either unresponsive 'support' or unhelpful 'responses'. The result is to be seen here - you are reading this boring page instead of posting away on Teen Hut. Instead of earning points for your next title/name change, if nothing else.
We ended up learning an important lesson, don't trust Americans with anything, even a wesbite. Their stupidity has that amazing capability to mess up anything and everything, and then they cry about us calling them 'stupid'. For someone who thinks this is biased or worse, that I am lying, perhaps their 'technical' uncle could help out. We have already run out of all the uncles at the New York datacenter and now planning to cancel their service and move to Ontinario or Montreal. At least, we hope Canadians will be able to do it better...so rejoice, Canadians. If there is a Montreal or Ontinario in United States, don't even bother to tell us about it - it is Canada we go.
Hopefully, you as our beloved members will be able to tolerate this downtime graced by 'God Blessed' America. Perhaps the American God didn't like an 'Evil Commie Atheist' having anything to do with a 'Godless' teen site; much less run, own or manage it. We will try to be back as online soon as possible, with all the resources available to us, provided we have a way out.
