Rumors of more attacks...
I had a "mole", so to speak feeding me some info about the last attack We have reason to believe that "Girl" is planning an even bigger attack. Maybe we should have "Temp" mods when spam occurs to help clear it. I think we should also advise users to keep their eyes peeled and report anything inappropiate to the mods.
Thoughts/anything else you'd like to add?

sounds good, but who should be a temp mod? who gets to decide to give modship? and when does temp modship run out?

There attacks are going to be really weak because I changed the settings of the forum, they will have to have separate unique emails for each user id they register and they will have to verify by email in order to post so that will deter a lot of it.
I could ban a few of the prominent IP's from the last attack since it looked like about 5 people did 70% of it... |
