Agree with EVERYTHING your boss says while your in training.
Even if he/she is a total retard, it'll pay off later when you're making money.

don't be too depressed after the first couple of days at work and find it really hard. It's all a matter of adjustment and when you get use to the workload- it becomes the norm and you'll be able to the job easily
of course- so as long as this is till/menial small teenager type work

Look like you know what you're doing around your boss/customers. They don't like to see workers being fuckups.

Of course, asking for help doesn't make you look incompetent, it makes you look intelligent. It's all part of learning to know what you're doing so you won't have to fake it.

I agree. A few weeks ago I offered to mop the floors, and since then it's become my responsibility to do it every day before closing.

My dad worked for verizon and because he did such a good job with each customer, they lessened his workload. I use that technique when I work.
