I say who is the government to tell you who you can or cant love/get married with? (btw Im not gay) If Bob and Joe want to get married, it doesnt affect me so why the hell would I care? Am I suddenly going to become gay just because gay marriage is legal? No.
The government is pretty hypocritical IMO, they say we have freedom of speech, religion, etc, but no gay marriage... You would think that with the progression the US has made in the past 100 year in terms of human rights, that gay marriage would have been legalized long ago.. but somehow no. ![]() Last edited by Dowork; 07-13-2008 at 12:11 AM. |

It should be allowed. People are born with the feeling of the same sex and shouldnt be judged differently for marriage/ for anything. I have gay friends and i dont mind at all. You see gays holding hands whatever more than once in a blue moon. If they want a ring to assure it, let them do so. Boyfriend to husband, we all see the same thing, its just that marriage is official. If one boyfriend broke up, its not like they'll go for a women. And somewhere i've heard some gays were force to marry a women so a marriage would be 'legal'. <.< Its not right. Let gay marriages be allowed.

Also, after the death of Christ, we are no longer under the rules/laws set by Moses in the Old Testament. Which is why churches don't put homosexuals, or cotton blend wearing people to death. Good point though.
