I don't think that people have sex because of peer pressure.
I was still a virgin after most of my friends were having sex. and i chose not to do it until i was ready and found someone i really loved that i wanted to do it with.
If someone wants to have sex, they're going to no matter what other people tell them. and if they don't want to, then they won't.
