it is confusing because if you go a whole 16 years liking only guys and then suddenly realize that you think a girl is hot it is weird.
that what happened to me.
normally i would look an see a guy and be like "DANG He is HOT!" then one day i saw a girl at the mall and she litterally took my breath away, and it started happening more and more often.
i didnt know how to react.

it is also hard to cope with if you have a family that is homophobic or live in a town that is.

I can understand that if you are immersed in a purely heterosexual culture, it may be hard to figure out, since you don't have anyone/anything to identify with.
But when you have resources such as the internet, it really becomes black and white; you are connected to people who went through exactly what you are going through, and the information is right in front of you.
